Red became a defining color within the Midnight Mandalas, symbolizing intensity in all its forms—anger, fear, love, passion, vulnerability, and sexual energy. As the series evolved, recurring symbols began to emerge: faces that quietly watched from within the patterns, expressive eyes, and hands grasping at the edges of the composition, suggesting both connection and resistance. These repeating forms became a visual language, revealing themselves naturally through the creative process rather than by design. Together, they mark a period of exploration where emotion and symbolism became inseparable from the rhythm and symmetry of the mandala itself.
